But Koogler received sizeable campaign donations from the family of a developer seeking county funding for their project within days of meeting with their group.²

The Sugarcreek Township Board of Trustees asked Koogler to recuse himself from future votes on the project.³

But Tom Koogler refused to listen, choosing instead to let the insults fly.⁴
